Riga Black Balsam Herbal Liqueur

Amber Beverage Group has announced the U.S. release of Riga Black Balsam, an herbal bitter liqueur made in Latvia.

The liqueur comprises 24 different plants, flowers, buds, juices, roots, oils (including Gentian and Peruvian Balsamic Oils) and berries, the companies says, prepared in oak barrels. Riga Black Balsam is 45% ABV, and can be drank straight or in mixed drinks, including with warm black currant juice. 

Riga Black Balsam initially launched in the U.S. in New York. Soon it will expand to Texas, Florida, California and Illinois. The brand launched in collaboration with New York-based Aligned Beverage Solutions LLC, appointed to represent Riga Black Balsam in the U.S.

The suggested retail price is is $24.99 to $27.99 per 750-ml. bottle.

Riga Black Balsam is sold in more than 30 countries, and has a recipe that dates back 265 years.
