The Macallan has announced a new limited-edition Scotch whisky: The Macallan Classic Cut.
This expression matured in oak casks seasoned with Oloroso sherry from Jerez, Spain. Flavors include creamy vanilla, sweet ginger and warming oak, the company reports.
The Macallan Classic Cut has an 58.4% ABV. A total of 90,000 bottles will be released globally for a suggested retail price of $89 per 750-ml. bottle.
