Our featured cocktail this week is the Aranciata Rossa Spritz, a creation by bartender Tom Siano at Peaches, a new southern pub and juke joint located literally one minute from our office in Norwalk, CT.
Siano prepared this sweet little number at the bar while we were awaiting a full cocktail tasting/dinner. Check out our Instagram page this week for more memorable drinks we tried that evening.
Aranciata Rossa Spritz
¾ oz Carpano Antica Formula
¾ oz Heering Cherry Liquer
1 oz fresh blood orange juice
½ oz simple syrup
Valdo Prosecco
Combine all the ingredients except the prosecco into a shaker tin. Add ice and shake vigorously. Strain over ice in a collins glass and top with prosecco. Garnish with a blood orange half wheel
