Magic Hat Belgo Sutra has returned for fall 2016.
Inspired by the Trappist brewers of Belgium, Belgo Sutra is a strong, dark ale brewed with figs, dates and dark candy sugar. Beginning this month, the limited-release will hit shelves in 22-oz. bottles and will also be available on draft at select bars and restaurants for limited time.
This quadruple ale has an ABV of 8% and 30 IBUs. It was made with these malts: Pilsner, Pale, Bolander, Extra Special, Carafa, and chocolate, along with Apollo hops.
The suggested retail price is $12 per 22-oz. bottle.
