Drake took another step recently towards joining the ranks of musicians who become alcohol entrepreneurs.
Last month the rapper unexpectedly announced on Instagram that he would launch his own whiskey brand. All that were revealed was a brand name — Virginia Black Whiskey— a logo, and email contact. Followed by radio silence.
Until four days ago, when Drake again took to Instagram to release more info about his brand. He posted the above photo of the produce poured in a glass alongside its bottle, along with this short description:
In the photo, the phrase “American Whiskey” likely implies a blended expression, while the bottle’s design would seem to suggest a premium product.
When and what more we may learn about Drake’s brand remains to be seen.
