New Single Malts from Anchor Distilling

Glenglassaugh Distillery and Anchor Distilling Company have introduced five new single malt whiskies: Revival, Evolution, Torfa, 30 Year Old and 40 Year Old. Revival is matured in red wine casks and ex-Bourbon barrels and finished in sherry butts for six months. The 92 proof whisky has a suggested retail price of $64.99. Evolution is matured in ex-George Dickel barrels and comes at 100 proof for a price of $79.99. Torfa, a peaty whisky, is 100 proof and $74.99. The 30 year old Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky is matured in refill Oloroso sherry butts, 44.8 percent ABV, and comes at a suggested retail price of $500. Lastly, the 40 year old, selected by Master Distiller Billy Walker, is bottled at 95 proof and available for $3000 per bottle.
