Sofia Chardonnay

Francis Ford Coppola Winery has debuted its latest addition to the Sofia label: the 2012 Sofia Chardonnay from Monterey County. Sofia wines originated with the sparkling Blanc de Blancs, a gift from Coppola to his daughter Sofia. A blend of 75% chardonnay and 25% pinot blanc, the chardonnay displays excellent balance, a supple texture and bright flavors of  crisp green apple, white peaches, juicy pears, spices and a hint of citrus, according to the company.
